About the Windermere Foundation
For every home that is bought or sold through Windermere, Realtors donate a portion of each commission to the Windermere Foundation, which supports low-income and homeless families in our communities. What started in 1989 as a grassroots foundation has grown to encompass ten states and has raised nearly $27 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, clothing, children’s programs, emergency assistance, and other services to those who need our help most.
In Oregon and southwest Washington, Windermere has raised more than $2.25 million for the Windermere Foundation in support of local organizations offering housing and services to homeless and low-income families. Organizations such as Bridge Meadows, New Avenues for Youth, and Providence Portland Medical Foundation’s guest housing received funding from the Windermere Foundation.
