Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group Presents Funding to Friends of the Children

Funds benefit homeless and low-income families and youth within the local community
PORTLAND, OR. – April 12, 2011 – Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group presented a check at its Moreland branch to Friends of the Children. Julianna Rowe, Moreland branch Foundation Representative presented the check to Julie Larsen of Friends of the Children.
Friends of the Children will dedicate the funds towards direct support for a local eighth-grader who has been in the Friends program since first grade. Funds will support the ongoing mentoring relationship and provide opportunities for this youth to participate in social and cultural activities as well as activities that ensure she graduates from high school on time and with attainable goals for future education and a career.
“We are lucky to have organizations like Friends of the Children in our community. The people served and the greater community benefit from their diligent dedication,” says Joan Allen, co-chair of the Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group Foundation committee.
