Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group Presents Funding to Parkrose School District Gateway Homeless Project
Funds benefit homeless and low-income families and youth within the local community
PORTLAND, OR. – May 2, 2011 – Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group presented a check at its Lloyd Tower branch to Parkrose School District Gateway Homeless Project (GHP). Allison Johnson, Lloyd Tower branch Foundation Representative presented the check to John Davies, GHP Coordinator.
Gateway Homeless Project will dedicate the funds towards providing for 194 homeless students in their district, 41 of them live on their own. Funds will go toward bus passes in order to get to school and work, clothing, food, hygiene products, and other miscellaneous items such as SAT costs, help with rent and costs to participate in extracurricular activities.
“I am impressed with the personal sacrifice that Windermere Realtors have made to make this contribution possible and honored the Foundation chose the Gateway Project as an award recipient,” says John Davies.

In addition to helping Gateway Homeless Project, the associates of Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group also participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation – a non-profit organization that has raised and donated more than $10 million since its inception to support programs for low-income and homeless families in the communities served by Windermere.
