Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group Presents Funding to PlayWrite, Inc.
Funds benefit homeless and low-income families and youth within the local community
PORTLAND, OR. – June 23, 2011 – Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group presented a check at its Lloyd Tower branch to Playwrite, Inc. Sally Baker, Co-chair of the firm’s Windermere Foundation committee presented the check to Steve Cox, Board President of Playwrite, Inc.
Steve Cox will dedicate the funds to students who participate in a two-week workshop designed to create noticeable improvements in language skills, self-expression and self-esteem.
“We are fortunate to have organizations like PlayWrite, Inc. in our community. The empowerment and boost to self-esteem their program encourages are vital to the students they serve,” says Sally Baker.
Windermere Real Estate has a long-standing tradition of assisting low-income families and giving back to the community. In addition to helping PlayWrite, Inc, the associates of Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group also participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation – a non-profit organization that has raised and donated more than $10 million since its inception to support programs for low-income and homeless families in the communities served by Windermere.
