$2,500 Windermere Foundation Donation

Windermere Foundation Presents Funds to

Rosemary Anderson High School

This $2,500 Donation will Support a Summer School Program

for Low-income, At-risk Youth

PORTLAND, Ore. — August 12, 2013 — Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group, Inc. presented a check at its Portland Heights branch to Rosemary Anderson High School, an alternative school located in Northeast Portland that serves low-income, at-risk youth.

Rosemary Anderson High School will dedicate the $2,500 to their summer school program, which keeps students in a structured, supportive environment where they can continue to catch up and even exceed academic levels in math, English, science, and technology.

Windermere has a long-standing tradition of assisting low-income families and giving to the community. In addition to helping Rosemary Anderson High School, Windermere associates participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation — a nonprofit organization that has raised and donated more than $1,000,000 to programs that support low-income and homeless families in the Portland metro and northern Oregon Coast area.

About the Windermere Foundation

For every home that is bought or sold through Windermere, the Windermere Foundation donates a portion of the proceeds toward supporting low-income and homeless families in our communities. What started in 1989 as a grassroots foundation has grown to encompass ten states and has raised $25 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, clothing, children’s programs, emergency assistance, and other services to those who need our help most.

In Oregon, Windermere has raised more than $2,000,000 for the Windermere Foundation in support of local organizations offering housing and services to homeless and low-income families. Organizations such as Bridge Meadows, New Avenues for Youth, and Providence Portland Medical Foundation-Guest Housing were included in the 2012 giving.
