Windermere Foundation Presents Funding to

David Douglas Educational Foundation

This $2,000 donation will support the building of

the Earl Boyles Early Learning Wing and Neighborhood Center.

PORTLAND, Ore. – June 19, 2014 – Windermere Stellar recently presented a check at its Northwest Portland branch to David Douglas Educational Foundation, a nonprofit organization located in Southeast Portland that is dedicated to promoting the success of children in the David Douglas school district.

Currently, the David Douglas Educational Foundation is building the Earl Boyles Early Learning Wing and Neighborhood Center. The facility will be used to provide free preschool to every child in the school’s attendance area, as well as classes and services for adults in the community. This $2,000 donation will support the project, which will establish the school as a resource in the area for low-income families and community members.

Windermere has a long-standing tradition of assisting low-income families and giving to the community. In addition to helping David Douglas Educational Foundation, Windermere associates participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation—a nonprofit organization that has raised and donated more than $2 million to programs that support low-income children and families in the Portland metro and north Oregon coast area.
