Windermere Foundation Presents Funding to Clatsop CASA

This $1,000 Donation will Allow Clatsop CASA to

Train Court Appointed Advocates for Foster Children

GEARHART, Ore. — February 28 2014— Windermere Real Estate recently presented a donation to Clatsop CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), a nonprofit organization located in Astoria that provides trained volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Clatsop County’s court and child welfares systems.

Clatsop CASA will use the $1,000 to train two volunteers on the dependency court system, child welfare system and all aspects of services so they can make reccomendations that help children achieve permanent placement. CASA volunteers have been serving abused and neglected children in Clatsop County for more than 20 years.
