Windermere Foundation Presents Funding to Restore Hope

This $2,000 Donation will Support Restore Hope in Providing

600 Foster Youth with Christmas Stockings

PORTLAND, Ore. — November 4, 2013— Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group, Inc. (Windermere) recently presented a check at its Northeast Portland branch to Restore Hope, a nonprofit organization located in Southeast Portland that serves children and families affected by sexual abuse. Restore Hope will use the $2,000 to purchase supplies to make Christmas stockings for 600 local foster children.

Windermere has a long-standing tradition of assisting low-income families and giving to the community. In addition to helping Restore Hope, Windermere associates participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation — a nonprofit organization that has raised and donated more than $2,000,000 to programs that support low-income and homeless families in the Portland metro and North Oregon Coast area.

About the Windermere Foundation

For every home that is bought or sold through Windermere, Realtors donate a portion of each commission to the Windermere Foundation, which supports low-income and homeless families in our communities. What started in 1989 as a grassroots foundation has grown to encompass ten states and has raised $25 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, clothing, children’s programs, emergency assistance, and other services to those who need our help most.

In Oregon, Windermere has raised more than $2,000,000 for the Windermere Foundation in support of local organizations offering housing and services to homeless and low-income families. Organizations such as Bridge Meadows, New Avenues for Youth, and Providence Portland Medical Foundation’s guest housing were included in the 2012 giving.
