Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group, Inc. Presents $4,250 in Funding
to Three Local Nonprofit Organizations
Funds to Support Programs at Girls Inc., Human Solutions, and Stand for Children Leadership Center
Portland, Ore.—Jan. 31, 2013—Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group, Inc. (CCRGI) presented $4,250 in funding to three local nonprofit organizations that support low-income and homeless children and families.
Girls Inc., a nonprofit organization that works to develop confidence, health, and success skills in young girls, will use the $1,500 donation to bring Girls Group after school programming to girls from low-income families.
Human Solutions, a nonprofit organization that helps low-income and homeless families access affordable housing, will use the $1,500 donation to support its Emergency Shelter Services Program which provides a safe place for children and families in crisis.
Stand for Children Leadership Center, a nonprofit organization that works to ensure that all children graduate from high school prepared to attend college, will use the $1,250 donation to underwrite scholarships for high school seniors who come from low-income backgrounds and have beat the odds by completing high school and being accepted into college.
Windermere CCRGI has a long-standing tradition of assisting low-income families and giving back to the community. In addition to helping Girls Inc., Human Solutions, and Stand for Children Leadership Center, the associates also participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation — a nonprofit organization that has raised and donated more than $1,000,000 dollars to programs that support low-income and homeless families in the Portland metro and northern Oregon Coast area.
