Windermere Foundation Presents Funding

to Autism Society of Oregon

This $500 Donation will Support Services that Empower Individuals with Autism

GEARHART, Ore. — April 22, 2014 — Windermere Real Estate presented a check to the Autism Society of Oregon at its annual walk-a-thon this month.

Serving the Oregon coast, the Autism Society of Oregon strives to empower individuals with autism, along with their families and service providers, in order to improve quality of life by providing information and support.

The Autism Society of Oregon will use the $500 to help fund its services, including a support group for people with autism, family activity days and its “Take a Break” program for parents.

Windermere has a long-standing tradition of giving to the community. In addition to helping Autism Society of Oregon, Windermere associates participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation — a nonprofit organization that has raised and donated more than $2 million to programs that support low-income children and families in the Portland metro and north Oregon Coast area.
