Windermere Foundation Presents Funding to St. Andrews Nativity School
This $2,100 Donation will Support the School’s Language Arts Read to Achieve Enrichment Program
Portland, Ore.—DATE—Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group, Inc. (CCRGI) presented a check at its Lloyd Tower branch to St. Andrew’s Nativity School, a tuition-free Jesuit middle school located in Northeast Portland that offers an academically challenging curriculum to low-income, at-risk students.
Many of the students who attend St. Andrew’s Nativity School begin their studies several grade levels behind in reading, writing and math. This $2,100 donation will be dedicated to the school’s Language Arts Read to Acheieve Enrichment program that focuses on improving students’ literacy. The mission of St. Andrew’s Nativity School is to break the cycle of generational poverty.
Windermere CCRGI has a long-standing tradition of assisting low-income families and giving to the community. In addition to helping St. Andrew’s Nativity School, Windermere associates also participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation — a nonprofit organization that has raised and donated more than $1,000,000 to programs that support low-income and homeless families in the Portland metro and north Oregon Coast area.
