Windermere Stellar Brokers Put Community First During
Community Service Day this Friday
WHAT: Never mind the scorching hot real estate market. On Friday, real estate brokers with Windermere Stellar will take a break from writing multiple offers and pitch in during a company-wide Community Service Day. From painting and gardening to cleaning and organizing, the brokers will get their hands dirty helping the communities where they work and live. If you are doing a story about the frenzied real estate market, this is a great opportunity to pair it with some unique visuals.

Roughly 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

WHERE: Throughout Portland, Lake Oswego, West Linn and Vancouver.
St. Andrew’s Nativity School (4925 NE 9th Ave., Portland)
9 a.m. – 12 noon
*The group will be completing special teacher projects that have been on the list all year, such as cleaning and painting, for this school made up of low-income middle school students.
Boys & Girls Club (7119 SE Milwaukie Ave., Portland)
9 a.m. – 12 noon
*The group will be doing yard work and cleaning play areas at this facility that provides after-school and summer programming for at-risk youth.
Fruit Valley Elementary School (3410 NW Fruit Valley Rd., Vancouver, Wash.)
Food will be delivered at 12 noon
*This group will be delivering food to the school’s food pantry. The children will help the brokers unload the food. 95% of students are on the school’s lunch program.
Legacy Hopewell House Hospice (6171 SW Capitol Hwy., Portland)
9 a.m. – 12 noon
*The group will be cleaning the grounds to provide a tranquil space for hospice facility residents.
First Emmanuel Lutheran Church (1816 NW Irving St., Portland)
9 a.m. – 12 noon
*The group will be working in the White Shield Garden and Rose Haven, an organization that provides services to homeless and abused women and children.
West Linn Senior Center (1180 Rosemont Road, West Linn)
9 a.m. – 12 noon
*The group will be landscaping the grounds to provide a welcoming environment for seniors at this recreation facility.
Tualatin School House Pantry (Rolling Hills Church (lower level) 3550 SW Borland Road, Tualatin)
10 a.m. – 12 noon
*The group will be stocking shelves and dividing food for the pantry to provide emergency food to households in need.
