Top Brokers of Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group Celebrated For Perseverance and Generosity
PORTLAND, OR. – April 27, 2011 – The Brokers who represented the top percentage of production with Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group, Inc. were honored for their perseverance during another challenging year in the real estate market with a celebratory luncheon at Waverley Country Club in Portland, OR. Brian and Joan Allen, co-owners of the local real estate company, wanted to also congratulate the top Brokers for a year of generous philanthropic giving through the Windermere Foundation.
Together, all nine offices of Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group raised nearly $86,000 in 2010 for local charities supporting homeless and low-income families; the top producers of the company’s Brokers donated 31% of that amount.
“2010 was another challenging year in the real estate market,” explains Joan Allen. “The effects of the economic recession continue to have a very big impact on our local housing market. Determining current market values, working with tightened lending and appraisal standards, and dealing with short sales and foreclosures have made our business more difficult than ever. These challenges translate into great stress on our clients and our brokers. Our brokers have done a terrific job of guiding their clients through these difficult times to achieve their goals, and we are very proud to count them as our friends and colleagues in real estate.”
